Glass vases are recommended, but it's possible to use other containers safely as long as they're big enough. The vessel should be at least 8 cm wide to prevent the wax from sticking to the sides. That way you won't have to clean the vessel afterward and your candle
will always look new and beautiful. Pour Candle Beads into a suitable container Insert the wick leaving out 6mm end Light the candle.
Currently, all our candle beads only come in white and are unscented. However, you can add your own essential oils or candle fragrance oils to the beads to give them a scent. Please do so at your own risk and comfort level, keeping in mind oils are very flammable and should never be added to a burning candle.

Here's a simple method to do it:
1) Light the wick and let it burn for about 5 minutes until a melt pool forms.
2) Blow out the wick and add a few drops of your favourite scent into the melt pool.
3) Relight the wick.
This way, the scent stays in the melt pool and won't affect the rest of the beads. Start with a few drops and
increase as needed. It is the user’s responsibility for all modifications made to the candles such as colours and scents.
Candle beads come in various sizes, including 400g, 1kg, and 5kg options. For more detailed information and purchasing options, please visit the iCandles SA Candle Beads collection.
Yes, our beads are plant-based, clean-burning, and pet-friendly. We still recommend keeping them out of reach of pets and children, since they’re technically not edible and burn with real fire, but you'll be glad to know the beads are non-toxic and not expected to be
harmful if a small amount is ingested. You can also take comfort knowing that candle beads self-extinguish if accidentally spilled as the beads smother the flame.
Glass vases are recommended, but it's possible to use other containers safely as long as they're big enough. The key is to prevent the melt pool from reaching the container edge and to keep the container from heating up while burning. Generally, this means a minimum container width of 80mm (8cm) at the narrowest part. Test it carefully and ensure it's not heating up while burning. Also, make sure to have at least 50mm of beads around each wick (only one wick is needed in an 80mm wide container!) and at least 25mm between the wick and the container bottom.
You have options! You can use a flame snuffer, dip the wick with a wick dipper, or simply blow it out gently. Nope, the beads won't fly everywhere if you blow out the flame carefully.
It's a good idea to store the beads in a container that can seal tight to help protect them from moisture and other elements. A container with an airtight seal, such as a plastic container with a tight-fitting lid, can help keep the beads fresh and in good condition for longer.
It's also good to have in mind the environment you will store, it is recommended to keep them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or other sources of heat or light.
It's a good practice to check the beads periodically to make sure they are in good condition, if you find any signs of mould, discoloration, or other deterioration, it's best to discard those beads and not use them in future events.

It's REAL FIRE, so please read and abide by the safety precautions. Use at your own risk and with caution!
There are several safety measures to keep in mind when using any candle:
Keep candles away from flammable materials such as curtains, paper, and other decorations.
Don't leave burning candles unattended. Extinguish candles when you leave the room or go to sleep.
Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
Trim the wick to about 6mm before lighting the candle. This will help the candle burn more safely and evenly.
Use a candle holder that is sturdy, non-flammable, and large enough to contain any dripping wax.
Don't burn a candle all the way down. Extinguish the flame if it comes too close to the holder or container.
Don't use candles as a light source during a power outage. It is safer to use flashlights or battery-powered
lanterns.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper use and handling of the candle.
By following these safety tips, you can enjoy using candles without risking accidents or injuries.
The total burn time varies greatly based on how the product is used. Do you relight the same wick or refresh it each time? Do you use one or more wicks at a time? How long do you let them burn before refreshing your beads? All these factors will affect how
long your candle beads will last. That said, the beads burn slower compared to traditional candles. Each wick (5cm) lasts around 9 to 12 hours, and you get 20 wicks with every 400g candle (up to 40 hours of burn time), 100 wicks with every 2.5Kg tub candle (up to 250 hours of burn time) and 500 wicks with every Bulk Bag (25Kg), (up to 2500 hours of burn time).
All of our candle beads come with wicks included. However, if you anticipate needing extra wicks, you can buy a supplementary pack containing Wicks - 10 Pack or Wicks - 50 Pack wicks. Each wick measures approximately 5cm in length and provides approximately a burning time of 9 -12 hours.
Yes, the candle beads can be reused after burning. Once the wax has cooled and hardened, the hardened wax can be removed. You can add a new wick and continue to use the remaining beads. This allows for minimal waste and extended use of your candle beads.
At the moment only white are available. But we are working on it.

Our beads are made from 100% plant-based wax, burning cleanly with minimal smoke or soot. They do not contain paraffin or any known allergens. You can also take comfort knowing that candle beads self-extinguish if accidentally spilled as the beads smother the flame. They also self-extinguish if accidentally left burning long-term, as the wick will eventually fall over and "drown" in the melt pool.
